Shields Brokerage will be closed on Wednesday so we can celebrate the life and passing of our friend and co-worker, Christopher Thies.
Chris was a staple at the agency for the past 16 years and had developed may close relationships with the brokers that we worked with. Chris was only 50 and was diagnosed with cancer last year that he put up a committed fight but succumbed in the end. He passed away on Friday the 28th at the Merrimack Hospice Center.
He is survived by a great family, a wife and two kids, who appreciate your thoughts and prayers in this difficult time.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday September 1, 2015 from 4 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry with cremation to follow.
